Carbon Sequestration

By selling carbon credits, landowners reduce the impact of climate change.  Carbon is kept within a natural form (timber, for example) and is kept out of the atmosphere. Some carbon projects require that a conservation easement be placed over the property. GSLC is also working with several reforestation companies to help restore burned areas through the sale of carbon credits.
